Upper section of agitator worn out and noisy.
I removed the old agitator, cleaned any debis and placed the new part over the spindle. I tightened the nut and placed the separator part and the fabric dispensor on the new part and all was complete. After viewing the video I was expecting to have to assemble the ratchet part but the agitator came with that assembly already assembled and in place. The part shipped quickly and arrived in perfect condition.

Water left in basket at end of wash cycle-not draining
Since I live in a condo (upstairs unit) flipping the machine was not an easy option. So I was faced with having to get the remaining 2-3 gallons of water out of the drum. I rigged something up and collected 80% of the water, but be prepared for a mess. I was and it wasn't a big deal, just took more time. Once part was removed, I got online to find the part- which ranged in price from $67 at a local appliance part distributor to $49 from SearsDirect including postage. Parts select came in at $37 with freight and the part swapped out perfectly- just 2 clips that hold the pump on and 2 hose clamps (I used slip-joint pliers which works well). I checked YouTube for a video first and lo and behold, there was a video about a whirlpool water pump replacement, which helped some. Job went well and I didn't have to replace a $1200 all-in-one.

Drum moves and strange noise when spinning
When I pulled the machine out, I noticed one of the suspension springs on the floor. I followed the video supplied by PartSelect.com and suggestions by other folks. I started with the spring that was missing, which was a mistake since I did not know that there are custom spring clips which hold the spring to the drum. Once I found the missing part the installation was very easy. I used the suggestion by another post, of wedging a block of wood between the back of the machine and drum, to relax the rear suspension spring, which eliminated having to remove the back of the machine or tipping the machine on the back to get at the screw. I will always look to PartSelect.com for any future appliance repairs. You are the greatest

Washer was not agitating and was making odd noises
Super easy and cheap repair/replacement of dog ears...after watching the internet video. Much easier the expected actually, as it took less than 15 minutes total time. you will need a decent socket set with a long extension but that is all. everything else is done by hand.

Lost the spin cycle and had a rumbling noise.
I performed the repair the same as outlined in the video, but I didn't need to tip the washer on the back side. Once I removed the sheetmetal, I was able to swap out the drive coupler, and the new part is a better design than the one that broke.

Drum wasn't spinning during spin cycle.
I followed the directions in the two videos that were provided on your web sight. It fixed the problem and it only cost us about $60.00. We were so thrilled with the results. We were almost ready to go buy a new washer. My wife suggested that we look it up on line and see if we couldn't fix it ourselves before spending the money on a new washer. Was she ever right! Thanks for providing such fine instructional videos.

Drum not spinning!
Watched the on site video.....Did everything except removing the cabinet....Laid the washer on the front side and did the repair underneath in less than 30 minutes.....I might add the new coupler is much better than the original which was all white plastic....The new part was nylon and had metal inserts. The original had no inserts. Some have said the original part that had the two flat sides would just round out causing the drum not to agitate or spin. Mine just broke in half. I don't see this new part breaking or rounding out the metal inserts.....I might add Whirlpool OEM part was costing much more and with a 5 business day wait on delivery....Parts Select 1.8 day was advertised and it came in two days.....You won't go wrong doing business with Part Select.

Two out of six interlocking spokes of the plastic flex-coupling hubs had broken off due to years of service. Contributing factors were running heavy bath towels.
Was going to "...just take it apart and fix it" as my career covered being a mechanic, machinist and vocational instructor for over 35 years. Just in case. I decided to visit the PARTSELECT" website for "How-To" guidance. There I fund excellent troubleshooting guidance, including root-cause analysis in % of likeliest cause(s). This was followed with a brief step-by-step descriptions of "How-To" activities, including necessary tools. Best of all was the short instructional video, showing exactly how to go about the repair in a safe and systematic manner. As a former instructor, I am truly impressed by the quality of the material and service this website offers! It made my job so much easier, and consequently it was well done in no time. I urge every customer to follow the excellent guidelines and strongly recommends this site to others. Total cost of my repair was $11.00 for the part, plus shipping; saving me a bundle and possible grief and frustration! The website gives great customer service off- and on-line with follow through by courteous personnel. Thank you for the superior customer service and level of support at every step!

would not agitate
searched the internet for the problem, saw video on you tube, bought the part & repaired/replaced the couplers. You have to make sure the couplers are all the way on the shafts, so the washer can be reassembled correctly. After it was reassembled, the machine would not go through the cycles. Apparently unrelated, the lid switch had become defective. I ordered the part & fixed the problem. That repair is also on you tube.
