Oven Would Not Light
I followed past on-line repair reviews by prior customers, who problems were nearly identical to mine. It was basically an extremly easy repair. Those reviews/notes are great, leading to using partselect as a valuable start source for parts replacement. (I removed the part before ordering for assurance of getting the correct item. )

Oven would not light.
I called the repairman, and he said parts were no longer available for this appliance. He charged $85.00 for this advice. As soon as he left I looked on the internet and found your site and looked for the part. I found it right away, ordered it, and installed it. It was easy to install and it works great. The repairman candidly told me that new ovens are not near the quality as mine is and that is why I didn't want to buy a new oven. Thank you for providing an alernative to our throw-away society. Oven Did Not Heat
The oven began to have low heat and then no heat. Read about it on-line and figured it was the igniter for the oven. Found the model number on stove/oven frame behind the bottom draw. Then I looked at a few on-line videos about how to install the piece. I have a convection oven and had to take the fan cover off to remove the bottom inside cover of the stove and I couldn't figure out how to remove the oven door to make it easier...so I had to leave the oven door on the stove. The stove door is heavy so be aware of that issue. Also I needed help...it was a two people operation. I needed to lay the stove on it's back to get to the piece. I needed to cut the wires and remember where everything went it was as simple as the video made it out to be...there were a few more wire connections. There is the issue of the door ...be careful you can stand the stove up and bring it down again but if not be careful/mindful of the door and it's weight and desire to slam closed...maybe a third person would be good to have around. ;) Anyway it can be done. Have patience. Take your time. Have a buddy to help you. Best part...the oven is now heating!! ;) Lovely!

Oven lights intermittently, smell of gas
Model# GLGF366ASD range
Turned off breaker
Removed oven door (see gas range manual for procedure)
Removed storage drawer on bottom of range.
Removed oven racks.
Removed oven bottom panel (2 screws in back of panel)
Removed oven shield (screw on left and right front of panel & nut in middle of panel)
At this point igniter was exposed
Removed igniter by removing the 2 self tapping screws securing igniter.
Note: threads on both screws stripped during removal, requiring both
screws to be cut off for removal. The stripping of threads of these screws
is probably normal due to the heating and cooling of the oven during
operation, making the threads on the screws brittle.
Marked the top wire on the igniter with a black sharpie
Cut both wires as close to the old igniter as possible.
Cut wires on new igniter about 10" long.
Connected new igniter with wire nuts (provided) making sure to connect wire from top of igniter to wire marked with sharpie.
Installed new igniter using 2 new #8x1/2" self tapping screws.
Pulled excess wire & wire nut connections down into the back of the storage drawer area making sure wires were resting on flanged area of panel.
Reinstalled oven shield, panel, racks, storage drawer, and oven door.
Turned breaker back on.
Oven works great.
Note: self tapping screws should be provided

Gas oven would not light
I checked the igniter resistance with an ohm meter. It read about 350 ohms. Voltage across igniter leads with igniter removed was 120 volts when the oven temperature control was turned on, so I knew the gas control and thermostat were ok. The new igniter has a resistance of about 220 ohms, so the difference was apparently enough to keep the oven from turning on. This is the second igniter I've replaced in this 20 year old oven, the first bad igniter had open resistance, obviously since it was visibly cracked. The repair went very fast, directions were great.
