Felt liner on lint screen falls out replaced once from Whirlpool
My front- loading dryer is 4 years old and lint screen felt liner never lasted long without falling out. When I received my Part Select I knew the quality surpasses manufacture screen. It is so much better and we are your new customers forever Thank you Cheryl

Dryer kept spinning with door open. Then several months later, dryer would not start.
I just followed the instructions on the video. The only helpful addition I have...make sure the power is off before you start. I did get that point when the video said to turn the power back on, at the end of the video. In all...a great experience and I saved more than $200.00 doing it myself, with the help of the FANTASTIC web site at PartSelect!

Dryer stopped running
I repaired this dryer after I did a little research online to learn about the thermal fuse. I took the back off the dryer and used the Fluke meter to test the thermal fuse for continuity. There wasn't any. I left the dryer disassembled and ordered the part. It arrived two days later. I installed it and reassembled the dryer in just a few minutes. It was a pretty simple repair.

Dryer Will Not Start
1. Shut off power to dryer 2. Remove back panel covers with 1/4" nut driver 3. Use ohm meter to determine continuity at various thermal couples (3) and the one thermal fuse on the blower panel. . (This was the "bad "one in my case) 4. Remove two wires and remove the one screw that holds fuse. Did not have the model# for dryer, so I took the part# from the blown fuse and found it at partselect. Com. . They even showed an exact picture of the part I needed. . Ordered on tuesday/arrived by fed x on saturday. . . Reverse procedure to install. .

Dryer wouldn't heat
The video on Part Select didn't actually show my dryer. So I found a video more like my dryer. I took the top of the dryer removed the front panel and removed the dryer drum. I removed the thermal fuse and the three thermostats. I checked each with a multimeter and determined which needed replaced. When the parts came I installed the new parts and put the dryer back together. The dryer immediately worked properly.

Loud sqeaks, noise during drying.
UNPLUG UNIT FIRST!!! Removed back cover. Make sure to note not all screws hold the back cover by closely observing the screw. Take a picture of the belt routing before removing from the idler pulley. Use headlamp or flashlight to light up pulley area. Remove belt from idler pulley by pushing idler assembly towards the right. Use small screwdriver to remove the existing pulley by prying off the existing tri-ring from the back of the pulley. You may have to "feel" the ring since it in facing away from you. Once tri-ring is removed, slide off old pulley and gasket or old second tri-ring. Replace with gasket first, then pulley then tri-ring. Reroute belt. Use picture if needed. Replace back cover.
