No dryer light, and dryer would shutdown randomly
ordered a replacement light - took about 5 minutes, hardest part was disconnecting power and getting into the dryer replace light. The second part was replacing the dryer switch. This took a bit longer, but was completed. The plastic locks on the top were a little different than the video, but once I saw how the one worked (one side popped open very easily) the other one just took a bit of nudging and opened easily too. Now that I have done this, I am not afraid of working on it for other issues. Great helpful site. They will have my business for other repairs.

Dryer would not start
I unplugged the dryer, removed the vent pipe, moved the dryer out to remove the back to get at the wiring and the thermostat's. Used the volt-ohmmeter to check for bunt out fuses and thermostats. The thermal fuse was out. If that part burns out there is trouble with one or all of the other safety devises, which is hard to check, so I replaced all 4 of heat controls. It was easy and now I do not have to worry about the dryer over heating. Thank you for your suggestion on what might be wrong and how to fix it. heater went out in the dryer
very simple. actually did a little more then was necessary. once we removed the back of the dryer, used our vacuum to vacuum up all the lint that was back there. Watched the video on how to repair the part when we ordered it and it was easy as can be.. we have used this web site to repair our oven, fridge and now the dryer. Everything went according to plan. I reccomend this site as much as i can and it has saved us a lot of money. Thank you!

Dryer wouldn't turn on
When I initially inspected the dryer when it stopped working, I noticed a ball of lint had collected on the backside of the thermal fuse. I figured that had allowed the temperature to exceed the fuse's max temp. To relace, I simply removed the dryer's rear panel, disconnected the thermal fuse and replaced it. Once all back together, the dryer powered on with no problem.

Dryer Was Running But With No Heat
I took off the back panel, removed the 2 screws each for the thermostat and cutoff sensor, removed the 2 wires that went to each, screwed in the new parts, reattached the wires, and bingo, the dryer produced heat again. This was my third and final shot at trying to fix this problem as I had already replaced the thermal fuse (was not the issue), and replaced the actual heating coil (apparently wasn't the problem either). However, the dryer is now working better than ever with the new heating coil, drying in about half the time it took before, so I'm glad that was done.
