Slipped screwdriver on top and bottom of catch and pullef out. Pressed new catch in plact. Job finished.

I watched the informative video you sent via e-mail with order conformation. Installation was flawless. Thanks and will be using your site again for any other small appliance repairs that may need my attention.

Removed two small screws on door edge, pop out broken part, insert new part, replace screws. Took 2 minutes 18 seconds. Nice to have various door catches in the Kit. This was a repair on a 1979 Whirlpool Dryer. Great price & service!!

I removed 2 screws to the lint trap, popped top of dryer with a flat screwdriver but did not remove it I just raised it and leaned it against the wall. I removed 2 screws from the top of the inside front panel,then I hooked the new cables to the springs that are on either side of the front panels at the top. I then pulled the panel forward just enough to fit my hand and thread the cables through the holes that are on the front panel that lead to the door, I had already popped out 2 plastic caps that go inside the door on both sides.I then treaded the cables inside each hole and snapped the caps back on. Pulled out old filter. Recycled. Slid in new filter. Closed plastic cover. Voila! Done! No real "repair" involved. More of a replacement.

New lint trap was in good shape and ready to slide into its proper place. Easily done. Works well.

Our make/model was not on the online instruction, but it was similar. Ours had a glass (plastic)front window in the door. To remove the top catch you had to take out the top four screws that hold the door together (philips head screws) allowing you to pull back the gray plastic strip to access the top latch, then replace it like in the online directions using a needle nose pliers. The bottom catch, once the two remaining the screws were out gives you access to the bottom catch. Remove it with the pliers and snap the new ones into place. You can completely take out the window when you replace the bottom latch if you want.

Just pulled the old parts out on door latch and put the new ones in. Thanks Parts Select for your prompt response and easy process for order and shipment.

Step 1: remove new latch from bag in which part comes. Step 2: push latch into hole where the other latch was. Step 3: enjoy having a dryer you dont have to hold closed with a folding chair.

Motor was tight, very hard to turn by hand. take the back motor mount strap off and you will be able to put an adjustable wrench on the shaft of the blower. you should be able to put vice grips on the pulley end and turn motor counter clock wise (CCW) to let handle of vice grips rest against the bottom of the machine and turn adjustable wrench CCW to turn off blower wheel. However, the one I did, the wheel was so tight I ended up having to break the blower wheel down small enough so I could pull the motor out. remove the front motor mount strap and pull the motor out. Install the new motor wheel and motor in the revers order. Set motor in place, install front motor mount strap, put blower wheel in from the back of the machine and start treading on the motor shaft. Then,from the front, tighten the blower with wrenches turning clock wise and put machine back together. Always unplug machine whenever working on it. Installed new filter and it is working great!!!

Open the top and replaced the switch bracket with the actuator lever then inserted new door catch.

Removed top and front of dryer. Removed drum. Removed old rollers from spindles. Installed new rollers and new retainer triangles. Replaced drum. Re-installed front and top.
