Dryer keeps running without drying clothes
The first thing I did was unplug dryer from outlet. Watched installation video (very hepfull), the back was removed and dryer unpluged because I had replaced Thermal Cut-Off Kit, High Limit Thermostst and Cycling Thermostst ordered two days earlier. Forgetful as I am I did not check Heating Element with ohm meater, It was bad, ordered new one. It arrived as promised and was correct part. Removed two screws holding heating element in place. Removed four wires one at a time, placing them in correct place on new element. Replaced element and two screws. Job complete. Pluged it in and dryer is working like a new one.

Broken Door Catch
The Door Catch Kit had clear instructions for installation and included multiple replacement catches to fit several different sizes/varieties of dryers. I used a screwdriver to pry out the broken door catch, popped in the replacement, and was done! As usual, PartSelect had what I needed at a good price, with clear instructions for any needed installation. Fast shipping, too.

Unit wouldn't dry clothes
Computer said only two things were probably wrong, heating unit or fuse. My son unpluged the unit, opened the back looked around and saw the burned, broken wire in the heating unit. Orderd part, deliverd in a few days (Issac inteferred) put in the new heating unit, replaced the back, closed the unit, plugged the dryer into the eltricity, pressed the start button and there was heat. Very easy repair and a lot more reasonable then calling a service man.

Dryer spinning but not heating
I had removed the heating coil prior to ordering the new part. It was one of the easiest repairs I have ever done. I just popped of the part I needed from the old heating coil. Put it on the new coil and popped the new part in. Put all the wires back on and it runs like new. I had cleaned all my vents out before starting. Very important to do this for fire safety reasons. My 16 year old dryer runs like new. My clothes are getting dry so much faster than they were before the coil went bad.

Dryer had no heat
Wow, so easy, so convenient, great price. My dryer was not heating at all, so I ordered a new heating element. Ordering, was easy, shiping was fast, Part arrived perfect. Moved my dryer out from the wall, UNPLUGED the dryer, unhooked the dryer vent, took the back off (hex nuts), unhooked two wire terminals, took the old thermostat out removed the old heating element, put new element in, put old thermostat back in element, pluged the two terminals back onto the element, put back of dryer on, rehooked the dryer vent, plug dryer back in. Easy, and best of all I didn't have to pay for an expensive service call. Thanks PartSelect. Very happy customer.

motor was bad in my dryer
I had to take the top loose and raise it up. There are two screws in exhaust vent you have to take out then you can raise the top. When you raise the top you will have to take the front loose and open it up enough to take the drum out. Go to the back and take the lower cover off and take the screws holding the exhaust vent out so the vent will come out the top. When you take the vent out you will see a fan on the end of the motor shaft. The fan is threaded on the shaft and it is left handed threads. As you face the fan you will have to turn the fan to the right to get if off. You will need someone to hold a back up on the motor shaft inside the dryer to keep it from turning. Take the motor out then get the new motor and wire it according to instructions. Install the motor on the motor mount, put fan on then put everything back in reverse order that you took it apart. The hardest part for me was putting the clips on the motor when I put it back together. Hope this helps you.

Drum stopped spinning
You pop the top of the dryer. Remove to hex screws which allow you to remove the front panel. Next you pull the drum off, snack the belt around the drum, motor and tension pulley and reverse the steps. The hardest part is getting the drum back in place without knocking the belt off the motor.
