Luckily enough the washer shown in the demonstration is my exact model, which eliminated any variables I may have come across. The repair was relatively easy and probably could of been done in less time but I took every step slowly to avoid breaking something or leaving something unattached. For the money and time spent on this repair I would certainly recommend this for anyone with a similar issue. After taking the machine completely apart, i found that the suspension pads were still properly functioning. Since i had already purchased them with the tub wear pads, I changed them anyway. The trickiest part for me was pulling the outer tub out because the shaft on my unit was very rusted had a considerable amount of buildup on it. During this step I was very careful to remove all the build up because there is a single rubber seal between the center opening of the tub and the motor shaft. After I made sure the shaft was completely smooth and there were no protrusions I gently rocked the tub back and forth while applying pressure from the underside of the tub, all the while making sure that the seal didn't fold in on itself or stretch in any direction. Other than that, the repair went very quickly and easily . The spanner wrench is a must !!! I actually found it on amazon for about 6 dollars and I'm positive I will find another use for it somewhere down the road. I owe a big thank you to Steve. (the guy in the video) and everyone else from parts select for making laundry day in my house tolerable again !!!

Had a lot of corrosion on the shaft area and had a hard time removing the inner tub but after some WD-40 and unprintable words and labor it popped off. Cleaned everything up, shaft, inner drum and outer drum. After that everything was a piece of cake. Thanks for the help!

It was simple, unbolted the inside laid it down on its back, took four bolts how and replaced parts and reversed the steps. It was super easy and You guys was on top of the shipping. Wife is happy! saved $500!!!!!!

I watched the video and that was a great help. I just entered my model number and selected the symptom. 61% of the time the drive coupling is the problem and it was. Ordered the part and got it the next day.

Removed the control panel and the cabanit. Then removed the adjutatior . Removed the motor and gear box slid the old shaft out and put the new one in put back together. Took about one hour .

After figuring out the shell was not gonna come apart easily, as some videos show for Whirpool, Kenmore.., to gain access to the water pump, I decided to try a trick I'd heard of before and try to get to it from the bottom. Since most washing machines have their water pumps in the front, I pulled it out enough to be able to lean it back against the wall and look underneath. Be very sure you have unplugged the machine from the outlet! Also be sure to support it from falling forward. The hoses and pump were easily accessible from this position.Using the pliers to remove the hose clamps, I could wiggle the hoses off easily. Be prepared for some water to run out, because there will be some in there. After removing the hoses, the clips holding the water pump on were easily removed with my fingers, you might need a screwdriver to loosen the clips. With the clips pulled back, or removed if you turn them 90 degrees the pump should pull off the shaft of the motor easily. A gentle tapping will usually loosen any stuck pump.Once the old pump is removed, line up the shaft of the motor and pump's sleeve with flat sides matching and it should slide on easily. Do not force it, it should slide on easily if lined up properly. Replace the clips holding the pump to the motor. Reconnect the hoses, slide the clamps back into place with the pliers, and you should be ready to Rock-n-Roll. Lower the machine, and slide it back into place. Hope this helps all of those that choose to repair their own Crosley washing machine with a new water pump.

First off, let me say two things, this was my very first washer repair and the installation video was excellent.

Few things though ..... The first thing I noticed was the old parts I removed did not look that bad to me. I was starting to wonder if I was wasting my time. However, its apart now I'll continue on. I had a hard time properly seating the new couplings on either end correctly. They were VERY snug. What I ended up doing was getting a 20mm deep socket that fit perfectly onto the coupling and with a hammer gently, (and I underline gently) tapped the new parts into place. That fixed that problem. I also had some minor difficulty putting the cabinet back together, but nothing earth shattering. The cabinet fits on top of the frame, not under. And lastly, the small clips that hold the console on were not very reusable afterwards so I'll need to order a new set of them sometime.

All-in-all it was a fun repair that didn't take me too long and I saved quite a bit. I definitely would do it again if necessary. I've done about 5 loads of laundry since and everything seems to be working great so far.

I used a small flat head screw driver to pop off the top cap, (since mine does not have a fabric softener dispenser). My 90 series didn't have a screw or a nut holding the agitator on, instead there was a plastic shaft with a half inch square hole in the middle. I didn't have a half inch socket at the time so I used a large flat head screw driver to remove it.(lefty loosy righty tighty) Didn't take no time at all to remove the agitator and replace the directional cogs.

Removed the upper part of agitator from lower section by removing bolt with socket wrench and replacing inner "dog eared" gasket (cog) with the repair kit ordered here. It took some finagling and a rap with a rubber mallet but I got it installed and it works like a charm. Washer works like new with a $ 20.00 kit that was delivered fast, within 2-3 days! I highly recommend this site for easy instructions and excellent response time and pricing !

Unplugged the washer and removed the two screws from the control panel. Raised the control panel and disconnected the wire connector that connected to the top.Then removed the two spring clips that hold the cabinet to the back of the washer. removed the cabinet from the washer that exposed the frame of the washer. I then replaced the broken spring by pushing the tub of the washer as far as it would go and replaced the suspension spring. Then i reinstalled the cabinet and control panel. Everything worked okay. ood as new.

Pop off soap dispenser, with a flat blade screw driver remove the cap on the top of the agitator. remove the cam,then remove the retaining ring on the bottom that hold the cods in place, and replace the cods. Very easy.

I went to you tube, watched a video on how to remove the top of the washer. The install of the part was easy. Just unpluge the connecters, remove two screws. iT TOOK ABOUT 30 MINUTES. Easy, the best part was how fast the replacement part came, this company is great.

slide ring at bottom of fabric softener receptacle up, remove the fabric softener dispenser . use a7/16" nut driver and loosen bolt in center of agitator remove old part checking the way it is located on all small parts. Configure new pcs according to opposite of removal put bolt back in and tighten agitator back down be sure to get it snug 10 to15 lbs. pressure .Next put fabric dispenser back slide lock ring back down . Check out operation!

The video they provide was very easy to follow. The only difference from mines and the video they provided was the top portion. Mines was held by two Phillips screws on the switch housing. The top pulls forward. Everything else went accordingly. Take off switch plugs, take off washer cover, unplug the vacuum line, replace coupler and reinstall. Only thing that took up time was getting water off the floor when I pulled the vacuum line. Use a bucket or do it outside.
