washing machine will agitate but not spin
I removed the cabinet and agitator, layed the machine on it's back, removed the pump, motor and gearcase. I found a way to prop the gearcase up so it rested level, removed the cover, drained the old oil. I removed all internal parts, disassembled them and cleaned them. I reassembled the gearcase using the new uetral drain assembly, and replaced the oil. I made sure the brake assembly was pushed into position and then put the gearcase, motor and pump back in. I sttod the machine up, put the cabinet back on and tested the machine. It still did not spin, so it wasn't the coupler, clutch or nuetral drain assembly.

Agitator had a terrible ratcheting sound when running in free-wheel mode during spin cycle.
Removed the gearbox from the drum and removed the direct drive motor from the gearbox. Disassembled gearbox and drained gear oil. Rebuilt the neutral drive assembly with the ordered parts. Cleaned sealing surfaces. Filled gearbox with new gear oil. Sealed and re-installed the top cover to the gearbox. Reattached motor and then reinstalled assembly to drum and clutch (installed new clutch lining at this time as well).

Hello John, thank you for your question. No, the item# 25 does not come with the kit. It has to be ordered separately, or by ordering the gearcase assembly. I hope this helps.

Hi, my machine didn’t agitate strong enough but it spin and drained well. I had replaced motor coupler and clutch assembly but agitation is still weak. I can even turn the agitator unit by hands during agitation. I notified some clicking noise possibly from gear box during agitation. I took a part the gear box but by looking, it seemed fine. I’m trying to understand what cause the noise and weak agitation? If i can replace the neutral pak , would it help? Thanks, john

Hello John and thanks for writing. Have you checked the little agitator clogs # PS388034, make sure they are not missing or broken. Replacing the neutral pak might help but it is not usually the cause of this. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime.
