This direct drive water pump, also known as washing machine drain pump or washer drain pump, is manufactured for washing machines that do not have belts. This is a genuine Whirlpool part with two ports for water to pass through, a large one and a smaller one, that will need replacing if the washer has a defective pump. Tools needed are slip joint pliers, a flat blade screw driver, and a putty knife. Sandpaper might also be needed to remove rust from internal parts to install the new pump. The washer will have to be disconnected from power and tilted on its back.

The suspension is meant to support the outer tub and keeps the tub steady during loads that could cause an unbalance. If this part breaks, is worn down, or perhaps has stretched out and lost its spring, it could cause the load to be off-balance which can cause excessive shaking, moving, noise and possibly leaks. For this repair, you will need a 1/4 nut driver, a putty knife, a flat blade screw driver, and a pair of needle nose pliers. Disconnect the power supply, fill hoses, and drain hose to give you safe and easy access (have a container nearby for water left in drain hose). This item is sold individually.
The water inlet valve on your washing machine is used to fill the tub with cold, warm, or hot water for the wash and rinse cycles. This part could have either a blue or green-color...
This is a lid switch for a washing machine. The pin on the lid pushes on the lever of the lid switch to tell the washing machine that the lid is closed, which allows the wash cycle to begin. The washer will not spin if the machine senses the lid is open. The tools youll need for this repair are a Phillips screwdriver and 5/16 nut driver. Be sure to disconnect the power supply and fill hoses from the appliance. When reinstalling the harness, take notice of the flat edges on the plastic terminal; they should face towards the front of the washer. This is a genuine OEM part.

This hose clamp is used in a wide variety of household appliances. Most often it is found in washers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, garbage disposals, or air conditioners. This clamp is used to securely attach a hose to another part of your appliance, which helps prevent leaks from those connections. Depending on the appliance, it can attach hoses to drain pumps, water inlet valves, pressure switches, and injector nozzles. We recommend you refer to model-specific diagrams for appropriate uses and exact placement. This hose clamp is made of metal, and is sold individually. To access and replace this part you will need a nut driver, pliers, and screwdrivers. Before you begin any repair work, make sure you have unplugged your appliance, and shut off the water supply if applicable.
