No Ice then overflowed water at ice maker
The problem with our ice maker started when it stopped making ice. It was a hit or miss problem. One day it would make a bin full then couple days later none. One morning I noticed that there was water overflowing from the ice maker which froze inside the freezer. I ordered the maker and valve after watching the videos on this site. With those videos I was able to fix the problem in no time. Ice maker has been working properly for over a week now. My wife was ready to get a new fridge but I was stubborn and wanted to see if I could fix it. Thank you to partselect.com for the fast shipping and great instructional vids.

Icemaker Didn't Work and Leaked Water in Freezer
After googling for a parts supplier, PartSelect.com came up. The site was well done and had the Parts List conveniently available. I watched the associated video which was the highest quality "how-to" repair video I have seen. As it turns out, though, the icemaker does not have to be removed from the freezer unit. I removed the icemaker's shutoff lever, removed 3 screws, pulled the motor assy off, slid the new motor assy in place and re-installed 3 screws. Reinstalled the shutoff lever per the video and JOB DONE.

Ice Maker stopped working after cyclying one time.
Ordered a new Ice Maker and replaced old one. The installation was a breeze except for the water recepticle on the right side of the Ice Maker. It was taller than the original and difficul to move the rubber water line into the new recepticle. Other than that. Problem solved. Been working great ever since.

This fridge is s ultraease 2 its 8 years old. Icemaker would'nt make ice. Its fairly easy all you do is take out the screws i recommend a power drill tho. Pop out the cover put the new motor in. I did'nt hear anyththing or see anything for a hour or two thought it did'nt work. Then i heard a clunk like ice falling into a bin. 3 hours later ice was falling frequently.

stopped making ice
the icemaker stopped making ice. The cubes would get jammed up and finally just stopped all together. Removal of the icemaker and installation of the new one was pretty easy. The only problem was getting the electrical plug undone from the old unit. We have a lot of calcium in our water and I guess it finally ate through and ice was forming under the unit. It was five years old so not bad really. All is good....quick delivery. Thanks.

The refrigerator would not defrost and would freeze up and no longer cool.
Turn off power to the frig. Remove the shelves and back brackets from the freezer, then with a 1/4" nut driver remove the nuts holding the rear metal panel in place. Once removed the defrost thermostat is right in front of you. You will have to clip the wires from the old t-stat because they are in a harness. Once clipped, strip the wires back, wire in the new t-stat, add wire nuts and put it all back together. Very easy job to do, works great. Thanks Parts Select, Mike.

Refrigerator door would not close properly
I removed the upper hinge cover and then the the hinge itself. Then lifted the door off the lower hinge peg. I placed a blanket on my pool table and positioned the door on it. The bottom screws were a little difficult to get the nutdriver seated so I used a quarter inch drive with socket to remove the screws. The replacement Closing Cam was quickly inserted and reassembled the hinge and lubricated with vaseline. Next I removed the Door Cam that was still on the peg on the refrigerator (it was completely worn flat). Quick work for this too. I tried to set the door back on the pivot hinge but eventually I needed another person to guide the door onto the peg. Reassembled the top hinge and voila, the door works just like new.

Water overflowed icemaker
My first try was to replace the water inlet valve. New valve was a good bit different than the original but not too hard to figure out. The main water inlet is on the inside rather than the outside. Flex hose and a stick in connector were included and I was able to work through that. But, when I turned it on the water still over flowed. The only thing left was the Ice maker. I ordered a new one. It came broken into several pieces. I ordered another, it arrived overnight with expediated shipping. install took maybe 15 minutes. problem solved. The company refunded me the full charge for the damaged ice maker and most of the charge for expediated shipping on the replacement. I'm happy and my wifes very happy.

ice maker no longer worked
The unit came out easily but the wire harness connector just didn't want to disconnect. The ice cold plastic was very difficult to work with and I had to use a screw-driver edge to pry it up and apart.
