Fan and lights work; compressor wouldn't come on; refrigerator and freezer would not cool down
Instructions were great, and all parts included for both compressor options. Once I figured out which parts to use, it took only minutes to repair; straight plug in; no problem or modifications required. Old control device innards were rattling/shot from the move. Best $50.00 I ever spent! Milton Waddams, Mt. Pleasant, SC

Heard a five second buzzing sound repeated 4 or 5 times per cycle coming from rear lower left compressor side.
Removed the six screws holding the bottom access plate found at the rear of the refrigerator. This gives you easy access to the run capacitor that has a retaining clip. Remove the wire clip and pull out the capacitor (it has two quick disconnect terminals). Reverse the process using the new run capacitor to complete the repair.

door of the refrigerator would not pull itself closed.
The hard part of the repair was getting the wife to empty the refrigerator door shelves. Once that was done simply removed the three screws on the door on the top of the door removed the bottom cam located on the bottom inside of the door. One of the simplest repairs I've ever done. Watching the you-tube video was a great help.

Had to completely remove the ice maker in order to install the replacement part
Sorry for delay in writing. Part I ordered arrived two days ago and it was exactly what I needed. Knowing that there will be problems even with the smallest job I procrastinated starting. When I did start this morning I foud I had to completely remove the ice maker and disassemble it in order to install the water fill cup bracket. The challenge was reassembling the unit. Not hard for an experienced repairman but a challenge for layman. Everything is thing is back to gether now and power on cooling down the refrigerator. Won't know how successful it was until turn on water and ice is formed. If it works this saved $75 just to get a Sears repairman to come out and tell me what would be needed to fix the refrigerator and $1,000 if I had to buy a new refrigerator. Extremely satisfied with service I received. Thank you.

Refridgerator Not Cooling And Freezer Not Freezing
Took cardboard back panel off and looked at compressor number and found right part number from the compressor start kit. It was somewhat confusing as you have to take that part of existing unit. The run capacitor is different size but worked. Worth the trouble figuring out instructions for parts but is working great right now.

Motor to eject ice noisy and not working
Greatest thing about this company was properly describing in an easy clear manner along with the video. A picture is worth a thousand words. A video is worth? Disconnecting wires in back of freezer was a little hard. I didn't know you would have to wait for a complete cycle before the water would fill and make the first batch of ice. I thought it was not hooked up properly and took it back apart. This time I left it, waited and in a few hours, it started making the first batch of ice. Great company, price and fast shipping. Would definitely buy from again

Cracked drip tray
Unscrewed the rear water valve and water line, and front water filter which allowed me to remove the old drip tray. New drip tray is smaller than the original tray, so I needed to put blocking in to keep tray under drip spout. Refastened the water filter, water valve and water line.
