Removed the nut holding the plastic cover plate at the top of the door. Removed the 3 nuts holding the latch to the fridge. Lifted the door up and laid it on its' side. Removed the nut holding the door cam and replaced it with the new one. removed the nut holding the lower door cam and replaced it. Put a little vaseline on both cams and re-in-stalled the door. Took less than 15 minutes and the door is like new. Watching the video on the web site was perfect.

Removed food from door. Shut off fridge. Removed dust cap at top hinge. Marked location of top hinge with masking tape so lining up when reassembling would be easier. Removed screws holding top hinge to fridge. Removed door, placed on blanket&towel. Removed old door cam. Put on new door cam. Removed old hinge cam. Put on new hinge cam. Put door back on. Replaced top hinge, lining up with tape. Replaced dust cap. Note that door did not really self close very well until it was filled with food. By far the hardest part of the whole operation was that my wife wanted to clean the fridge in the process!

After unplugging the microwave and removing the screw, I removed the old bulb and put in the new one!! I made sure it was in securely and the difference in the light was awesome! I use this light when I bake bread and let it rise inside the microwave, but DO NOT turn it on. The heat from this light helps the bread to rise properly!!

I just want to share with everyone what a great experience this was. I called on a Monday night after the bottom shelf in our fridge broke and juice had just spilled everywhere. Needless to say I was annoyed so when I actually got in contact with a person instead of a machine I was excited. I did not get her name but she quickly helped me locate the model number, and even described the shelf to ensure it was the correct piece. She gave me the price, took my CC#, and within minutes the part was ordered. I could not believe that the part arrived the very next day - less than 24 hours. I was very impressed. This is a very easy fix. Begin by emptying the contents of the door. Then, just remove hinge cap and remove the three hinge screws. The door can then be lifted off the hinge pin and placed on its side. Once this is done, replace the two can pieces (one on the door and one on the frame). Then just lift the door back in place and secure the hinge. This job can be done by one person (maybe two if you need help place the door on a work surface) and will take just 15 minutes.

Took out the door bins, 1 bolt on the plastic cap, 3 bolts on the hinge, took the door off, replaced cam at the bottom, all same size bolts, reset the door spent longer time cleaning the door selfs all done by my self in less than 30 min. others said it helped to have second pair of hands "my wife would of just got in the way :)"

I watched the video and thought "I can do this". Made some notes and then proceeded to remove the old switch and replace with the new one. Thank you.

I have never before seen a bulb with the filament intact not light. If the bulb's filament seems intact, screw the bulb into a known working lamp and see if it lights. When screwing it back into the socket in the fridge, it takes a bit of extra effort to fully seat (until it does, it won't light!). For replacing the switch, I unplugged the unit, used a paint scraper and worked it under the switch bezel from the right side. A bit of moxie, and the switch came out. The replacement switch had a different spade contact spacing than the original. I used a pair of scissors to cut the rubber bridge between the two switch wire connectors so I could connect to the new switch. In the end, it turned out to be the bulb. NOTE: The Model TC18KL is _not_ listed! What I finally found that the number "P7803211WL" on the sticker is actually a manufacturing code. Found this out by searching, and Sears' part search came up with matches.

I went exactly as the video claimed. I was almost too simple a repair.

Lower door closing cam was completely worn down so door wouldn't close on it's own. Ordered parts which arrived in a couple of days. After watching installation video on this website the job looked pretty easy. Needed socket wrench to loosen nuts at top, they were really tight. Removed door. Replaced both the cam on the bottom of door and the cam on the main unit, put door back on making sure it was straight and lined up properly. Retightened top nuts securely. Voila, problem fixed in only about 15 minutes or so.

If you are having this problem, read this. My refrigerator door would not stay closed. This was over a year and a half time period. I thought it was something complicated and told my wife to call a repairman. Thank goodness she does what she does best - not listening to me! My refrigerator is over 8 years old and they had the part I needed, a lower door cam, along with a video on how to install the part. This honestly took about 5-10 minutes to do and I did it without any help. I was so aggravated at myself for waiting so long at doing this!! I actually ordered 2 of these parts, just for the next time. You can do this.
