PartSelect Number PS12585623
Manufacturer Part Number 5304517203
The Lower Spray Arm is used in your dishwasher to spray water and clean your dishes. If broken there will be visible damage or your dishes may no longer be cleaned properly. If your spray arm is broken (due to general wear or high heat), it should be replaced. Your lower spray arm will be located at the bottom of your dishwasher tub. Check your user manual and model number to ensure this model is right for you. This version is plastic and metal and comes in gray/blue. We recommend you wear work gloves to keep your hands safe when installing and disconnect power to the appliance. You will also want to make sure that you turn off the water supply to your dishwasher. From here, you will want to open the dishwasher, pull out the lower rack and set it aside. Remove the lower wash arm. On each side of the bottom of the spray arm, there are small locking tabs that can be pushed aside using a flathead screwdriver. Once released, the spray arm can easily be pulled off the dishwasher. Put the new lower wash arm in place and push it down to lock it in. Ensure it is spinning freely and does not hit the heating element. Return the lower dish rack into place and then close the dishwasher door.

spray arm keeps melting
I have had to keep replacing the spray arm on the bottom of my dishwasher which takes like 2 seconds to do.. First you open the dishwasher and than pull the bottom basked forward and reach down and pull the spray arm up and pop the bottom of the spray arm off and put it on the new spray arm and slip it back into the dishwasher over the thing that makes it spin around.. but the tricky part is and I didn't know this and this is why my dishwasher spray arm kept falling over and melting on the heating element.. you have to turn it till it clicks in.. and your done.. This middle spray arm kit includes an upper spray arm, a holder or hanger, water supply tube or delivery tube, split ring seal, and a screw. The function of these parts is to spray water to all levels of the dishwasher so the dishes will come out completely clean. This kit has recently been redesigned. It does not include the upper support or mount, so consider ordering those parts as well if necessary. The spray arm is approximately 18 inches long, and all parts are white in colour. The only tool you will need to complete this repair is a Phillips screw driver.

Lower spray arm was not turing properly and causing poor wash results
I noticed the upper bushing washer was worn thin. this caused the lower spray arm to rise too high and wobble during all the wash cycles. Also the rotation of the lower spray arm was wearing grooves in the lower bushing.

I removed the retaining nut and simply replaced teh defective parts. While I was at it I figured equal wear might be evident on the upper spray arm so I bought a complete rebuild kit to bring all rotational parts back to new and equal preformance that was achieved by removing the ss screw and removing the upper spray arm, bushing and clip then replacing them in the order of removal. Noticed a huge difference in the quality of the washed dishes!! Thanks Parts Select 100% to yoru company!!

PartSelect Number PS11746245
Manufacturer Part Number WP8539324
This upper spray arm mount has been redesigned by the manufacturer, so it not longer requires a clip and screw to be installed. To replace this part, first remove the rack stops from the upper dish rack and pull out the dish rack to work on it. Remove the screw holding the spray arm in place, take off the spray arm and slide out the feeding tube. Flip the rack over to remove the mounting bracket from the mount. Snap the new mount into place and replace the other parts.

The spray arm would fall off during the washing cycle.
Repair was simple. I unscrewed the old grommet which held the old spray arm and screwed-on the new one. About 30 seconds was required. Other people having this problem should note that the spray-arm is made of three pieces which are inseparable when the arm is new. The arm is sold in this form. However, when your machine is having the problem that the arm falls off, the three pieces become separate. When you want to replace the spray arm, only one new part needs to be ordered because this part encompases all three components. Read more...

This spray arm nut is used in dishwashers and works as the retaining nut for the lower dishwasher spray arm. The nut makes sure the lower spray arm is secured to the pump housing. If your spray arm is coming off, or your nut is lost or damaged, replacing the part can be a solution to your problem. Remember to unplug dishwasher from power source and disconnect the water supply before you begin this installation. Refer to the manual provided by the manufacturer for further installation instructions.

Lower sprayarm nut stripped + broken inside Pump outlet
You WILL need a star-tip screwdriver for this COMMON DU915 repair. We already had one.
The plastic "wing" nut which keeps the lower sprayarm attached to the pump assembly cracked inside where the threading on each part meets. Have been reattaching the nut to the Pump outlet for a year or so with super glue and finally found PartSelect.com. My husband had to fix this with a star screwdriver and vice grips (and he is super strong)-- otherwise an easy fix using just the manual supplied by the manufacturer. I just noticed the virtual repairman feature on partselect but we didn't need to go there.
The starhead screws that hold the pump outlet in place were on super tight. Other than that, no problem. It has been a week and the dishwasher works like new.
I ordered the parts online at 9pm at night and had the parts in my mailbox the next day - LESS than 24 hours later. How is that even possible?
Just ask anyone who knows me...I am NOT easy to please when it comes to customer service in any realm of the retail world - I have to say without any doubt PartSelect is the BEST experience I've had in my entire shopping life. It's as if customers run this company. I only wish they sold car parts, groceries, clothes and food.
I will be back to purchase again, I'm sure and I know it will go just as smoothly.

rubber flaps on the end of the manifold were worn - no pressure
Ordered the "right" part according to the diagram. The part I received was about 1/4" too long so I couldn't use the whole manifold. Took the rubber end off and - fortunately- it fit the old manifold. Dishwasher works fine now. Wish I could have ordered just the rubber valves. Read more...

This is a replacement spray arm for your dishwasher. It is approximately 20 inches wide. This spray arm is made of gray plastic and is sold individually. The spray arm rotates and sprays water to clean your dishes. The spray arm can occasionally become clogged and damaged, and this can prevent your dishes from being cleaned properly. Dishwasher was growing mold on inside lid door. Also the glasses were not looking clean. Appeared as if they were not getting rinsed well enough.
First I removed the two screws that hold the lower front cover of the dishwasher to get under the dishwasher. Then I removed the two screws that hold the element in place. I then pulled the element out about 3 inches and disconnected the two wires. I then opened the dishwasher door and removed the old element and replaced it with the new element. I closed the dishwasher door and reconnected the two wires making sure that I put the proper wire on the proper post. I then put the two screws back on the element to hold it in place Next I replaed the cover on the front and tested the dishwasher for heat by running it empty. Read more...
