PartSelect Number PS11743008
Manufacturer Part Number WP596669
This hose clamp is used in a wide variety of household appliances. Most often it is found in washers, dishwashers, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, garbage disposals, or air conditioners. Depending on the appliance, it can attach hoses to drain pumps, water inlet valves, pressure switches, and injector nozzles. We recommend you refer to model-specific diagrams for appropriate uses and exact placement. This hose clamp is made of metal, and is sold individually. To access and replace this part you will need a nut driver, pliers, and screwdrivers. Before you begin any repair work, make sure you have unplugged your appliance, and shut off the water supply if applicable.

Kenmore Dehumidifier Compressor Start Relay
PartSelect Number PS426380
Manufacturer Part Number 216594300
The compressor start relay attaches to the compressor in your refrigerator. If your refrigerator will not start, one of the most common parts to fail is the compressor start relay. Sometimes called the controller, this device is used to boost the compressor until the unit is running. Other common symptoms connected to start relays include: refrigerator will not start, will not cool, is making a clicking, humming or buzzing sound, or the compressor itself is warm to the touch. You may also smell a burnt plastic odor if the relay has failed. Shake the relay and listen for any rattling, as this is a sign that it is faulty.

PartSelect Number PS11738697
Manufacturer Part Number WP16123
If your clothes washer is leaking, it is likely that there could be an issue with one of the hoses. If the hoses are in working order, you should check the washers connecting the hose to your unit. Rubber washers are tasked with enhancing the seal between the hose and washer. A faulty or damaged washer will not be able to perform this properly, and water will be able to leak from the poor connection. This OEM part is sold individually, so make sure you order the quantity that is needed. The washer measures 1 1/16 inches x 5/8 inches.

Cold water slow to fill tub
I started by shutting off the hot/cold water and unplugging the washer...from there, the back panel(secured with approx. eight bolts) was removed; it proved to be the project's most difficult task. The inlet valve was very easy to remove: removed a couple bolts that secured it to the back panel, disconnected the two electrical plugs and water fill hose. The new valve was installed by reversing the above steps; take note to follow the supplied directions as the electrical plugs must go on the valve in a prescribed manner. The back panel actually goes on easier than it comes off. When reinstalling back panel, be sure the water diverter is properly positioned before securing back panel. The diverter can be seen by opening the washer's lid...it's the plastic thing that channels water into the tub. After reassembly, new water supply hoses and washer were installed, moved washer back into place, plugged it in and all worked like new. Read more...

Refrig making a lot of noise
The motor kit had only two wires coming out of it. The existing one in the refrig had 6. I spliced the 2 red to one black on the new part and 2 white to the other black wire on the new part. The two green I attached to a screw. I left the 6 wire harness in place just cut off the plug piece that went into the old motor, and spliced all my wires.
Worked great!

Kenmore Dehumidifier Speed Nut
PartSelect Number PS11742700
Manufacturer Part Number WP486692
The speed nut (also referred to as a condenser motor fan nut), fits onto the condenser fan motor. The motor for this fan turns on simultaneously with the evaporator and the compressor motors, so a malfunction in the condenser fan motor could cause your fridge to cycle on and off more frequently or run too warm, or too noisily. Make sure that the speed nut is properly attached and tight. Check the nut for any signs of wear or damage. If the nut is damaged and refuses to tighten, you should replace the part immediately. Remember to unplug your refrigerator before starting this repair.
