Although the Sears/Kenmore brand has been sold for almost a 100 years and is amongst the most popular, Sears has never manufactured an appliance. Appliances branded with the Kenmore logo and sold through Sears are produced by other major manufacturers.

The Sears Model Prefix Chart will show you which manufacturer produced your appliance so you can be sure to get the right repair information. Locate the model number on your appliance and match up the first THREE digits before the decimal point of the model number to find the manufacturer.
