Carving out time for workouts amidst a busy schedule is one of the most common pitfalls of a well-planned fitness regime. Things like needing to pack a gym bag in advance and sitting in traffic on your way to the gym from work are obstacles between you and your fitness routine. That's why it is important to have a fitness routine on hand that you can perform almost anywhere. You may not have the time to get across town to the gym, but you must have 20 or 30 minutes to do a basic bodyweight routine.

Our guide has five exercises each for the upper and lower body. All are high-impact and designed to work as many muscle groups as possible. It's called multi-tasking! You can combine a variety of these movements to create your very own workout. Combine that with some jump-rope to get the heart rate up, and your workout is over before you know it.
