Caloric RST376 Gas Range Fault Codes

Note: Depending upon the brand of appliance, there can be many different names for the 'clock' component. Electronic Range Control, ERC, Electronic Oven Control, EOC, control board, and clock all refer to the same part.

• F1 - Clock Error - Replace control board (clock).

• F2 - Oven Temperature Sensor defective - Replace oven temperature sensor.

• F3 - Open Oven Temperature Sensor - Replace oven temperature sensor.

• F4 - Oven Temperature Sensor Low Rating - Replace oven temperature sensor.

• F5 - Clock Error - Replace control board (clock).

• F6 - Power Surge (clock) - Disconnect power to unit for one minuter and check to see if error reappears . If error continues, replace control board (clock) assembly. Touch Pad Button Stuck - Replace touch pad.

• F8 - Diagnostic Read Out Failure - Replace control board (clock) assembly.

• Door Flashing # 0,1,2,3 - Latch Switch Broken - Replace latch switch.
• 'Lock' Flashing - Latch Switch Broken - Replace latch switch.
• F0 - Loss of Safety Signal - Replace adapter board.
• F1 - Watchdog Circuit - Replace control board (clock).
• F2 - Check oven temperature sensor.
• F3 / F4 - Open or Shorted Oven Temperature Sensor - Replace oven temperature sensor.
• F7 - Shorted Touch Pad - Replace touch pad.
• F9 - Motorized Door Problem - Check door latch.
• FF - Door Lock Error - Check door switch and latch motor.

Electronic Range Control (ERC) III / Relay Board with Separate Board/Push Buttons

• F0 - Shorted Touch Pad - Replace touch pad.
• F1 - Control Board Failure - Replace control board (clock).
• F2 - Oven Temperature Too Hot - Check oven temperature sensor and replace if defective.
• F3 / F4 - Shorted or Open Oven Temperature Sensor - Replace oven temperature sensor.
• F5 / F6 / F8 - Control Board Failure - Replace control board (clock).
• F7 - Shorted Touch Pad or Stuck Button - Check glass touch pad alignment and replace if necessary.
• F9 - Door Latch Failure - Replace door latch if defective.
