Error code "F7" on keypad indicated problem
Unplugged range (very imortant!) Removed screws to rear access panel, then removed screws holding ERC panel in place. Disconnected all electrical inputs and ribbon connector. Replaced all electrical inputs and ribbon on new ERC as they were on original ERC. Replaced ERC screws and rear access panel screws. Plugged range back into outlet. Viola! Couldn't have been easier. Unfortunately, 3 days later the error code returned indicating problem could be keypad or dirty ribbon. I have cleaned ribbon w/pink eraser and am waiting to see if error code returns. If so, probably should've tried that first to determine if it was just a bad keypad, which would've been a lot cheaper to replace for the get go....live and learn!
