Soap door failed to open during many ( not all) loads

Reading other do-it-yourselfer's accounts helped me know this repair was relatively easy.

Removed seven torx head screws around the panel inside the door, snapped the old Wax Motor for Detergent Cup Actuation out and pulled firmly to remove wires. Attached wires to the new one and snapped it in place. Reinstalled screws. The dishwasher has not failed to open the door on a load since then. Mission accomplished for under $25.
