I switched off the circuit breaker to my dishwasher. I removed all the screws from the hatch on the inside of the door with the star-shaped allen wrench. I lifted the hatch off the inside of the door and removed the old latch assembly. I had to remove the switches from both sides of the new assembly and use the old switches on the old assembly. That way I didn't have to rewire the new assembly's switches. I inserted the new latch assembly and reset the hatch over the top of the assembly. Then I screwed the hatch back to the door and turned on the circuit. Simple.
