Surface element would not operate on "HIGH"

I'm relaying this information because the GE website layout for the parts on this range is INCORRECT. After four (warranty) trips by GE technician, I discovered this fact and made the repair myself. Also important to note that these infinite controls are color coded on the shaft tip and rear of the unit, so one can discern these parts visually, as noted:
2600 watt..........orange
1500 watt..........black
1500 watt warming eye.....blue
