I went on-line to the Whirlpool web site, looked at troubleshooting, found the description of the problem; i.e. a broken water pump. I found PartSelect on-line, they had everything I needed, ordered my part, had it in three days. I disconnected the electricity, turned my water off, pulled the washer away from the wall, leaned the washer back so I could get underneath. I then used a pair of crimping pliers, loosening the two hoses, removed the old water pump, installed the new water pump, re-clamped the water hoses; all this took about ten minutes and Voila! I will use PartSelect Again. James E.
