I first unplugged the unit from the wall and then removed the screws that hold the back cover in place. I then removed the 2 screws holding the control panel in place. next I marked each of the electrical connections (total of 4) before removing from old panel. To replace the unit, I simply installed the unit by screwing in the 2 mounting screws. Afterwards I plugged in the electrical connections as marked from before. I plugged in the unit to test the control panel, which worked great. I then unplugged the range again and place the back cover on the range and then plugged back up, and pushed back into place. The entire repair, after the part arrived, took only 10 minutes from start to finish.
One thing that has prompted me to write this is the fact that PartSelect had the part in stock and was able to ship it the next day for me. I called the factory service center and they could not ship to me for 3-10 days. I also called the local repair center and they said 7-12 days. In our house we depend greatly on our range and waiting simply was not an option. Thank you Part Select!
