First, I went to youtube and researched how to make this repair. It says to remove the door first and lay on a table for easier installation, but it wasn't necessary. I uninstalled the old gasket by cutting it in half along the long side of the door with wire cutters, pulling it out slightly as needed to completely cut through. Then I pulled it straight out, towards the front or towards the door. Then I got the new one and started at the top corner. Once done with that corner, I went to the opposite lower corner. I did all the corners first, then used a nut driver to slowly as to not pinch or tear new gasket, pushed the gasket in all the way around.
