I called the authorized repair company and received an estimate of $300 +, with minimum $75 to look at it. That motivated me to try it myself. Removed two nuts on either side of auger on inside of door, then pulled out shaft and set aside. Shut door, removed drip shelf, and removed the two Phillips head screws, pulled cover, unplugged wiring harness and set cover aside. Auger motor is covered by kind of card stock paper cover with foil on inside. Lifted that out of way and removed the four nuts attaching the motor. Unplugged and removed motor and replaced with new motor. Replaced the four nuts, plugged in the new motor, lowered the paper cover. Re-attached the ice door cover with the two Phillips head screws. Opened door, replaced auger drive shaft with the two nuts and replaced ice canister. Works perfectly. 20 minutes and the cost of the motor - estimate I saved $200+ for 20 minutes work.
