I am a beginner level do it yourselfer who wasn't about to pay for a service call on my 5 yr old dishwasher. I figured i'd need that money to put towards a new one. But the website showed that the fuse fixed the problem over 50% of the time, and was less than $20 so I figured it was worth a try. (I had to return an item to part select before and it was hassle free - just had to pay shipping - so I knew I could return it if the fuse didn't fix the problem.) I was able to follow their online instructions & repair video to remove the old fuse and had my dad use his voltage tester which showed it wasnt passing any current. So I ordered the new fuse and was pleasantly surprised when it came earlier then expexted. It took me longer to find the right screwdriver than it took to install the new fuse. I normally shy away from any type of electrical work, but it really was very easy to replace. And once I got it put back together and turned the breaker back on, it picked up right in the middle of the cycle it had been on when it stopped working. So glad i checked partselect before going out to buy a new dishwasher!
