I used a flex 1/4 in adapter to the proper sized nut. It took a while to get everyting aligned so that the torque I exerted did not remove the socket from the nut. The combination of tools was reached by trial and error. I was nearly impossible to get my socket on the nut that held the dispenser cover in place. It was practically out of sight. I had no knowledege of how to remove the cover of the ice/water dispenser and did not remove it out of fear of breaking it. Finally, with the nut free I manuvered the unit out of place and changed the shroud. I used some caulking on the part to help hold the parts together while I reinstalled the screw that holds everything in place.
