I unplugged the washer from the power plug, Pulled it out so I could access the back, removed the two Phillips screws that held the control panel to the top of the washer. they are almost 2 inches long, removed the two hex head screws that hold the control panel to the back panel . pull the control panel forwards and it lifts up. remove the knob from the switch by pulling out on it. from the back disconnect the wiring harness and the small tube from the switch twist the switch counterclockwise it will pop a little tab off, pull the switch out and replace it. reassemble
