First replaced the Dual Inlet Valve, because this seems to be the most likely part to fail, (this was not the cause, but I still recommend replacing it, due to the high failure rate when over 10 years old.) Then pulled the IceMaker and inspected the gear that controls timing for refill of the ice cube tray. Found that the contact that is responcible for timing of refill, had extended the length of the contact with carbon, (from braking contact at the end of of the fill cycle) creating a short black trail of carbon, which had become conductive and was the reason for the over fill of the ice cube tray. Once the new tray was functioning, the issue vanished.
