On a Sunday night, I Googled the part that I needed. Several sites came up and I went with PartSelect because of the positive reviews. I felt secure about using my credit card, but I am still old school and very apprehensive about having my Credit Card out there in cyber space. I went to the site and made my purchase with little effort. I had the part shipped to my place of business and it arrived on Tuesday. I opened the package and the part was exactly what I needed. I took a late lunch and decided to run home to make the repair. I gathered the needed tools and removed 6 screws in the top front panel of the door to expose the door latch assembly. Took the Star bit and removed two screws holding the latch in place. Popped the latch out, installed the new latch, replaced the two screws and reinstalled the six screws that secured the top front panel to the door. The front door seal was sent with the latch assembly, which was an added bonus.I removed the old gasket by starting at the top and working around both sides of the door frame. Once removed, I got some dishwash detergent and mixed with warm water in order to clean the area where the gasket had been. The warm water made it an easy clean up. The gasket had a dot at the center point, so this made for a good starting point for reinstalling. I positioned the dot, centering it above the door latch and fed the gasket into the metal groove. Worked the gasket in the left side groove and then the right side. At the bottom of each side the gasket was easily tucked into place. I turned the breaker,(power) back on and I was ready to try it out. I ran the washer thru a cycle and all worked well. I was kind of upset that l waited so long before purchasing a new latch for the repair. Heck, my wife wanted me to purchase a new Dishwasher, but I told her that I could make the repair myself and save the money for something else. PartSelect made this a great experience for me...... I will definitely do businedd with them in the future. Allen Ragan
