Start by unplugging the washer. Turn off the water both hot and cold.Move washer away from the wall to gain access to the back of washer. Unscrew the water hoses.Use a small bucket to catch the water in the hoses. Use nut driver or socket set to remove the screws around the inlet valve. After the panel is loose you will have to push the panel in then turn to the side to work the panel out. This is the hardest part. When the panel is free remove the hose clamp and hose. unplug the two wires. unscrew the screw that holds the inlet valve in place then push the valve to the side and remove the old valve. To install new valve reverse the steps.
