The parts manual assembly drawing was pivotal in performing repairs. I did not have a long nut driver so I used a make shift extension because the regular socket was too big in diameter. The timer is located at the top of the fridge panel. Remove the rear screw completely, loosen two Phillips head screws at the top of the compartment and slide out the assembly. Remove two screws that secure the timer then plug out the timer and replace with new. The heater is a little more tedious work and is located to the bottom of the freezer compartment. Open the freezer door and remove two screws that hold the rear panel exposing the evaporator and heater.First unplug the heater/thermostat assembly. Pull out the short piece of tubing that stabilizes the heater, remove the bottom spring then carefully remove the heater. Installation is just the opposite process.
