GE dropped the ball when they designed the bottom rack. The wheel assembly has two parts a side clipping axle and the wheel. It must be a huge problem in that as soon as you do a search a picture of the these two parts shows up in the first page. $7.50 as a replacement. There are eight (8) wheel assemblies to deal with. Usually one or two start to fail but the proper remedy is to replace ONLY the axle clips and all of them. ($.79 each) Reusing the old wheel is key in keeping the cost down. The wheels are not the problem. The easiest way to remove the old axle is to pinch the axle ends. and pull on the clip assembly. Push the new axle clip onto the wheel prior to attaching the clip to the rack. The whole eight clip w/ wheel replacement will take less than 6 minutes. D. Hackett Spring Hill TN
