WHEN MY "WHIRLPOOL" WASHER QUIT, I TIPPED IT OVER ENOUGH AND DETERMINED THAT THE MOTOR COUPLING HAD FAILED. I ALSO NOTED SOME RUST ON THE LOWER PUMP MOUNTING CLIP. THERE WAS NO MOISTURE SO I THOUGHT NO MORE OF IT. I ORDERED THE COUPLING, RECEIVED IT AND USED YOUR VIDEO TO INSTALL IT WITH NO PROBLEM. WHEN I STARTED THE WASHER, GUESS WHAT? THE PUMP LEAKED. THE MORAL OF THIS STORY. WHEN YOU'RE IN THERE PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO OTHER POTENTIAL PROBLEMS.
