Sorry, we couldn't find any existing installation instruction that matched.
replace ignition electrodes for GE gas stove
You need to remove the knobs and remove the panel where the knobs are connected.

You also need to remove the display panel front to gain access to the where the electrode wires attach.

The other screws are readily visible. It's about 30 screws that need to be pulled.

The adapter put on the electrode can be pulled off with needle nose pliers and a small screwdriver, if the adapter does not fit through the opening on your stove. Just put the adapter back on after you snake the wires through.

When i turn knob to light burner the igniter clicks and lights burner on 3 knobs, but one knob does not. How do i get the one knob to get the igniter to click?

Hi Carl, thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts to check in this case. First you should check your burner electrode. Then you should take a look at your igniter switches/harness. If those parts are fine then you may have to look into your spark module being the issue. I hope that helps. Good luck with your repair.

Stove does not light when I turn the gas on. Is it just the ignitor that needs to be replaced?
For model number AGBS300EP2BB
PartSelect logo
Hi Rusty, thank you for getting in touch. If you hear clicking and see sparks as you turn the burner knob, and can smell that gas is flowing okay, but the fire will not ignite, it is possible that the gas feed is clogged. If it checks fine, we recommend replacing the igniter, part number PS11762477. Good luck with the repair!

My gas stove igniter on the left side keeps clicking, after lighting the gas and after turning off as well. Is it just needing a new spark electrode? Or other potential parts as well?
For model number JGBP26WEW1WW

Hello Chester, thank you for your question. You will want to consider the Round Style Oven Igniter, part number PS243425 for your model range as the culprit of the clicking noise. I hope this helps!
