VENT GRILLE: I'm a low-tech person, but this was truly a hands-only installation. No tools needed. The flat side is the top and the curved side the bottom. Line up the notches on the back of the grille with the structure in the interior of the vent area, press firmly, and the grille is in place. The grille comes with two embedded screws, but I kept the screws I ordered for "just in case" use in the future. TEMPERATURE SENSOR: This installation was challenging but not exactly technically difficult. I have a wall oven, so had to unscrew the plate inside the oven and pull the "tail" through the hole into the oven in order to unsnap the old sensor and snap in the new one. Then everything was pushed backed and the plate was screwed back. Couldn't pretzel myself into position to do this--tight corner--so I removed the oven door. Getting the door off wasn't hard (you tube has tutorials), but getting it back in place wasn't easy. Hint: The hooks/hinges on either side of the bottom inside of the oven door should be aimed at the top of the slots, not the bottom (as I did for too many times). The hooks connect with the something inside. When you hear the click, pull the door flat, push the tabs toward the oven (they'll move easily), and you're ready to bake.
