I removed the 5 screws on the back with a 1/4" wrench, had to use needle nose pliers to remove the wires from the original switch, removed the screw at the base of the switch with the 1/4" wrench and installed the new switch by screwing it in, being careful to make sure the little tab above the switch shaft is secure, then I put the wires back exactly as they were before, put the back back on and then put the new knob on the switch shaft. It was a piece of cake!
