I unplugged the washer, removed the 4 knobs and unscrewed the 4 screws from the top of the front panel and moved it forward. I then disconnected the wiring and the 5 screws that hold the control assembly in place. I then reversed the steps with the new part. I have used the washer 3 times since the repair and the washer works perfect.
