power was cutting out on water and ice dispenser

I removed the display board and dispenser door and installed the flapper (my fridge didn't have one at all-no wonder my freezer was getting frosted up) and then replaced the display board (wires very easy to place). I was not certain this would correct the problem, but my kids had broken the plastic facing of the old display board so it was worth a try. It didn't work. I ended up having a repair man come to replace some wires that had become corroded underneath the fridge.
