The Jenn-Air R201 is a stand-alone Range with 4 burners, 2 6" and 2 8". Two of the burners were out, one was simply electrically open, the others were badly worn. One of the switches was bad and 2 of the burner connectors were bad. I started by opening the breaker for the range at the breaker panel, and removed and discarded all the burners. The ring adapters were rusted on all 4 burners as well as the trim rings. All 8 of those were removed and discarded. The broken receptacles were replaced using the high temperature wire nuts. Caution: make sure the high temp wires are tightly wound together with pliers before putting on the high temp wire nuts. You must have a good mechanical connection before the wire nuts go on. Replacing the Infinite switch for one of the burners was frought with problems, since the push on connector at one of the terminals broke. I had to replace the push-on terminal and purchase a good quality crimp tool. Once that was done, I replaced the trim rings, drip bowls and put the new burners into their respective connectors. Hint: make sure that the indicator lenses are not cracked, or the indicators will not be held in place and can float inside the control unit and possibly short out. If they are damaged, replace the lenses. After checking all connections, the control unit was re-installed, and the range circuit breaker closed. The unit worked perfectly afterwards and looks like a brand new unit - only about 23 years old. One of the original infinite switches is now acting up, so that will need to be replaced soon. Thanks for having these parts, I saved a lot of money rebuilding this range!!
