I cut the power to the dishwasher at the electrical panel, removed the 10 torx screws securing the metal inside panel to the door assembly, being unable to detach the electrical leads from the old handle (like many before me) I removed both connecting pads from the old handle with the aid of a jewelers screwdriver and installed them on the new handle, aligned the inside panel and handle with the door assembly to ensure no-leaks and replaced the 10 torx screws. Restored power to the unit and ran a cycle to ensure everything worked correctly and did not leak. Again, the difficulty rating and time taken will very depending on how long you decide to fiddle with the lead connections before you give up and take the easy way out.
