Oven igniter would glow, but not light oven

I removed the door, bottom cover (inside oven) and flame spreader. I had to remove the screws around the pan in order to remove it as well, and the burner (pipe?) The replacement part is amazingly fragile, and a touch on the tile caused it to break, necessitating a trip to an older appliance store for another igniter. This replacement came with a female plug in the connector, which wouldn't work with the one in the oven, but fortunately I was able to use the wire from the original and the ceramic wire nuts that came with the replacement. The part from PartSelect would have been an exact replacement. Make sure that the burner pipe fits over the nozzle on the bottom or the fire will start in the back of the oven instead of inside.
