Broken Lid Switch Assembly

Noticed that the screws holding the lid switch assembly were loose and discovered the plastic housing of the assembly had cracked. Since the assembly was broken and out of alignment the washing cycle would stop just before the drain segment. Ordered the replacement assembly and watched the online installation video. Had no problem opening the control panel and releasing springs holding the machine cover/sides to the control panel. Removed the broken part and installed new assembly. Only difficulty was tipping the machine cover/sides back into position and figuring out how to re-clip to the control panel. Total time for repair was about 10 minutes.
