This couldn't be any easier! Unplug the machine's electrical cord. Close the hot and cold water supply valves. Pull the machine away from the wall, and disconnect the water supply hoses from the rear of the machine (you may want a small bucket handy to catch the water remaining in the hoses). Release the two washer top retainer clips by Inserting a flat blade screwdriver blade into the gap where the top meets the front panel (these are about 2" in from the corners). Tip the machine top backward toward the wall. Locate the water valve at the rear center of the machine; pull the two quick connect plugs off the solenoids. Remove the sheet metal screw from the left side of the water valve mounting bracket, and pull the left side of the water valve assembly towards you, then lift the water valve out by pulling the right side mounting bracket tang out of the notch in the machine rear panel. Remove the sheet metal screw securing the water valve to the mounting bracket. Release the tang holding the right side of the water valve in the mounting bracket, and slide the water valve out of the bracket. Slide the new water valve into the mounting bracket, and replace the screw on the left side of the mounting bracket...now simply do the remainder of the reassembly in reverse! It took me longer to type this than it did to actually do the work.
