Turn off the power to the oven at the breaker box. Removed the oven door (by lifting straight up) to make access easier. Removed the oven shelves. Remove two screws at the back of the oven that held the old element in place. The only difficult I had was finding the proper socket size to remove these screws. Once those are removed, slide the old element toward you 2-3 inches. Remove the two connection wires for the old element and remove it. Place the new element in the oven and connect the wires (keeping the same color wire on the same side as before.) Slide the element back and replace the two screws that hold it in place. Put the oven shelves in and the door back on. Turn on the breaker. Done.
