Refrigerator light & temp control panel not working

First of all, I should mention I am not handy at all I found this repair to be VERY easy. The most difficult part was trying to figure out where the control board was. First, I removed the cardboard protective cover from the back of the refrigerator and identified that the control board was in the white plastic protective box on the far left side of the unit. To remove the cover from the white box there is a clip on the top and the bottom that you need to press to release the lid. Once you have the cover off, there is another clip inside the box at the top that holds the control board in place. Press that and pull the existing control board out and disconnect the 3 plugs. Then simply plug those into the new control board and replace everything. Fixed my issue and everything works great! When I looked at my old control board I could see a very small burn mark on it and this apparently is what had gone bad on the board. Hope this helps - good luck!
