No heat to my dryer

I used my multimeter and I checked the heater element and it looks good because it has continuity. Cycling thermostate looks ok too, it has ohm reading. Then I test the thermostat cut-off and it has no reading. The next day I order the thermostat cut off and put the new one back in. Now after I put everythings back together, my dryer is working like a charm--It has heat now.
