Ice maker stopped making ice

I wasn't quite sure whether the problem was the ice maker or the inlet valve. I purchased both because when I removed the ice maker, it was dirty. Probably because of hard water in my home. It was easy to replace both the ice maker and the inlet valve. Once done, I turned the water line back on and my ice maker instantly filled with water ready to make ice. Easy repair!
