Removed the two screws for the motor cover and the four screws holding the motor in place, then unplugged it and it came right out. Placed the rubber washer that comes with the new motor over the shaft and installed the new motor, plugged it in and turned the power back on and I had ice. The hardest part of the job is holding the new motor in place and starting a screw, (which is not hard to do, if you can walk and talk at the same time you can do this)
