Parts Select ,site helped me diagnose the Problem,I found the Defrost heater element Burnt out,the glass had gone black,so i replaced with the one which i ordered from Parts select, the new heater being a twin element,i had to stretch the left cable by making it loose by cutting the tie raps, which were bundeled with other wires, and brought it to right side ,berely making it without making a extenson of the kit which came with the parts.I also replaced the defrost Thermostat since i was almost there inside the panel .(I changed the Thermostat first & then i replaced the Heater, which i found burnt out ,black tube, had i replaced the Heaters first,i might have not replaced the Thermostat,as i checked with a multimeter the Thermostat was good.) It is easy to check the heaters first, then you know that is the problem,if black or no continuity with multimeter, then replace this only & u could save some money on Thermostat. I Thank Parts Select for easy instructions & saving Money. I called PC Richard /GE they said will give appointment after 6 days & charge $100/- for visit, Plus Parts extra, My Fridge is back running again, keep up the Goodwork Parts Select I will Defenately Recommend others to your site.
